Giant Power 7.4V 5000mAh 50C 2S Lipo Battery with TAMIYA Plug

Battery to power your RC car. There is quite a wide choice of batteries to go with where it comes to powering your RC car. All of them will work (ESC must support) but some of them have advantages in specific situations. I went with a Lipo battery because I am building a Drift car and I want that extra torque through the whole discharge cycle while I am driving my RC car. Lipo batteries are also lighter and charge up much faster. But not everything is so great with Lipo batteries. The biggest downside is battery maintenance as Lipo’s needs to be handled with care where it comes to discharging minimum voltage and long term storage!

Fully charged 2s lipo = 8.4v (Don’t store for more than a couple of days)
Long term storage = 7.6v – 7.7v
Minimum cutoff voltage = 6v – 6.4v (Belowe this will damage your lipo)
